Some features require an Emma Websites
account. You are responsible for providing
accurate information, keeping your login
credentials secure and for activity that
occurs through your account where such
activity results from your authorized use
or failure to protect your credentials.
You must not knowingly use another person’s
account without authorization or attempt to
gain unauthorized access to another user’s
information, files, projects or account.
Plans, promotions, usage allowances,
credits or other access features may have
limits and eligibility rules displayed
within Emma Websites.
4. AI and Online Tools
Emma Websites provides online tools for
personal and business use. Some tools may
operate through our own website systems,
while others may use third-party
technologies, APIs or artificial
intelligence providers.
Results produced by automated or AI systems
can be incomplete, inaccurate, unexpected
or unsuitable for a particular purpose.
You are responsible for reviewing output
before relying on, publishing or using it.
AI-generated or automated output should not
be treated as a substitute for qualified
legal, medical, financial or other
professional advice where such advice is
required.
Tool availability, limits, supported file
types, models, processing limits and other
operational requirements may change over
time.
5. Google Account and Google Drive
Connections
Emma Websites may provide features that let
you connect a Google account or Google
Drive.
Connecting Google is optional unless a
particular feature clearly requires the
connection to perform an action you
requested.
By authorizing a Google connection, you
instruct Emma Websites to use the
permissions you approve for the
user-facing functionality associated with
that connection.
Emma Websites will request only the Google
permissions considered necessary for the
implemented feature. You can choose not to
authorize the connection or may revoke
access through available Emma Websites or
Google account controls.
Your Emma Websites account remains your
primary account with us. Connecting Google
Drive does not create a separate Emma
Websites identity or transfer ownership of
your Emma account to Google.
6. User Content, Files and Instructions
You retain whatever ownership rights you
lawfully hold in content that you submit to
Emma Websites.
By submitting content for a tool, service
or client project, you give Emma Websites
permission to process that content to the
extent reasonably necessary to perform the
service or action you requested.
You represent that you have the necessary
rights, permissions or lawful authority to
provide and use content you submit.
You must not knowingly upload or submit
content that unlawfully infringes another
person’s intellectual property, privacy or
other rights.
7. Website and Client Projects
Professional projects may have additional
requirements, specifications, timelines,
prices, payment arrangements, revision
limits, deliverables or responsibilities
agreed through a proposal, invoice,
project conversation, written scope or
other project agreement.
Where a project-specific agreement
conflicts with a general provision
concerning that project’s deliverables,
the more specific written project agreement
may govern that matter.
Client responsibilities
Clients are responsible for providing
reasonably accurate requirements, required
content, approvals, credentials and other
materials needed for the project within a
reasonable timeframe.
Delays in receiving required client
materials, approvals or access may affect
project timelines.
Third-party systems
A client project may rely on third-party
services such as WordPress, Shopify,
hosting providers, domain registrars,
payment processors, email services, CRM
platforms, analytics services, plugins or
other external systems.
Emma Websites does not control the
continued availability, pricing or policies
of independent third-party services.
8. Pricing, Payments and Billing
Prices, deposits, subscriptions, project
payments, credits or other charges will be
presented or agreed in connection with the
relevant service, project, plan or
purchase.
You agree to pay charges that you knowingly
authorize according to the terms presented
for the relevant transaction.
Certain purchases may be processed by
third-party payment providers and may also
be subject to their terms and policies.
Any refund, cancellation or project payment
arrangement specifically agreed for a
service will apply to that transaction.
Where no separate arrangement is stated,
eligibility for a refund may depend on the
nature of the service, work already
performed and applicable law.
9. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use Emma Websites in a way
that damages the service, interferes with
other users, violates applicable law or
attempts to obtain access that has not been
granted to you.
You must not:
-
Attempt to bypass account, plan,
security, quota or authorization
controls.
-
Access another user’s private data,
projects, files or connected services
without permission.
-
Use automated systems in a manner that
materially disrupts or overloads the
platform.
-
Upload malware or intentionally harmful
code.
-
Use the service for fraud,
impersonation or other unlawful
activity.
-
Attempt to interfere with or compromise
Emma Websites infrastructure or
third-party services connected to it.
10. Intellectual Property
The Emma Websites name, branding, website
design elements, platform interface,
original software, documentation and other
materials created and owned by Emma
Websites remain protected by applicable
intellectual property laws.
Client ownership of custom project
deliverables may be determined by the
agreement for that project, including any
payment or licensing conditions stated in
that agreement.
Third-party software, themes, plugins,
fonts, stock assets, APIs and other
licensed materials remain subject to their
respective owners’ licenses and terms.
11. Third-Party Services
Emma Websites may link to or integrate with
independent third-party websites, APIs,
software and platforms.
Your use of those third-party services may
be governed by their own terms, privacy
policies, availability and technical
requirements.
Emma Websites is not responsible for
changes, outages, account restrictions,
pricing changes or independent actions
taken by a third-party provider outside our
reasonable control.
12. Service Availability and Changes
We aim to keep Emma Websites and its tools
reliable, but continuous or uninterrupted
availability cannot be guaranteed.
Maintenance, hosting issues, third-party
outages, provider limits, security events,
technical failures or other circumstances
may temporarily affect availability.
We may modify, replace, suspend or
discontinue a feature where reasonably
necessary for technical, security,
business, legal or product reasons.
13. Disclaimers
Emma Websites provides its online platform
and tools on an as-available basis, subject
to applicable law and any specific written
commitments made for a paid client project.
We do not guarantee that a website, SEO
service, AI output, marketing activity or
other digital service will produce a
particular ranking, level of traffic,
revenue, customer volume or business
result.
Search engines, advertising platforms,
social networks, AI providers and other
third-party systems operate independently
and may change their algorithms, policies
and services.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by
applicable law, Emma Websites will not be
liable for indirect, incidental, special or
consequential loss arising solely from use
of the website or online tools, including
losses resulting from third-party outages,
user error or reliance on unverified
automated output.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits
liability that cannot lawfully be excluded
or limited.
15. Suspension or Termination
We may restrict or suspend access where
reasonably necessary to protect users,
investigate abuse, address a security risk,
enforce these Terms, comply with law or
respond to serious misuse of the service.
Users may stop using Emma Websites at any
time. Account or data deletion requests are
handled according to our Privacy Policy and
applicable retention requirements.
16. Applicable Law
Emma Websites operates from Nigeria and
serves users and clients in multiple
countries.
These Terms are intended to operate
consistently with applicable law. Nothing
in these Terms removes mandatory consumer,
privacy or other legal rights that cannot
lawfully be waived in a user’s
jurisdiction.
17. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms as Emma Websites
changes, new services are introduced or
legal, technical or business requirements
change.
The latest version will be published on
this page with the date of the most recent
update.
